Ongava Lodge is the finest accommodation in Namibia’s Etosha National Park. The lodge is situated on the top of a hill in the privately owned 75,000-acre Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of the park, and its main deck has a spectacular view of a waterhole frequented by wildlife. Excursions include game drives in Etosha and drives and walks in the private reserve. Both black and white rhinos live within the reserve, and Ongava guides specialize in approaching them on foot–an unforgettable and transformative wildlife experience! Other wildlife including lion, elephant, giraffe, and antelope can be seen here as well. The lodge has a well-placed photo hide near a watering hole that is ideal for wildlife photographers.
Guests of the reserve can also stay at one of three suites at nearby Little Ongava. The suites are more luxurious than the lodge rooms and include private plunge pools.
