Kitich Forest Camp sits in a forest glade high in the Mathews Range within the Namunyak Conservancy, run in partnership with the local Samburu community. It's eight classic canvas tents perched above the Ngeng River, each with simple en-suite showers, fine beds and forest-floor views. The draw is walking with Samburu-warrior guides among ancient cycads and elephant paths, with sundowners at Murit Pass, swimming in natural forest pools, and fly-camping under the stars.
