Chem Chem Lodge sits on nearly 50,000 private acres between Lake Manyara and Tarangire in northern Tanzania. It's eight light-filled tented suites, including a two-bedroom family suite, set among ancient baobabs and grazing zebra. The camp built its identity around the "slow safari" — guided Maasai walks, spa afternoons, al fresco dining, and lakeshore sundowners rather than a packed game-drive schedule. It has a pool, gym, and wifi; children four and older are welcome, and it closes from mid-March through May for the rains.
