Lekkerwater Beach Lodge

Lekkerwater Beach Lodge sits among the dunes of the 84,000-acre De Hoop Nature Reserve on South Africa's southern Cape coast, one of Africa's best spots for land-based whale watching. It has seven suites, each with a private deck and floor-to-ceiling windows in an azure-toned beach style, all overlooking a long stretch of open beach. Southern Right Whales gather offshore from July to November to calve and breed, and the surrounding fynbos ecosystem is explored on nature trails. Children over six are welcome, with one family room.
