The Manta Resort is a beachfront resort on the northern tip of Pemba Island in the Zanzibar Archipelago, with 18 rooms split between 12 garden rooms and six seafront villas. It is best known for its Underwater Room, a floating three-level suite moored 250 meters offshore whose bedroom sits four meters below the surface with windows onto the reef. The setting is built around the water, with world-class snorkelling and diving, and the resort runs a marine conservation program.
