Royal Chundu Island Lodge is the more secluded, four-villa half of the Relais & Chateaux Royal Chundu on the Zambezi near Victoria Falls, set on private Katambura Island and reached by a short pontoon crossing. The villas are shaded by baobab and jackalberry trees, with interiors that echo the surrounding bush, private wooden decks, glass-walled double showers, and open-air baths overlooking the river channels. Its island setting makes it the quieter and more exclusive of Royal Chundu's two lodges.
