Saruni Rhino lies in the Sera Wildlife Conservancy in northern Kenya, home to East Africa's first community-run black rhino sanctuary, established in 2015. Four rustic stone bandas and a mess cottage sit among doum palms along a dry riverbed overlooking a waterhole. Its signature experience is tracking black rhino on foot with expert guides and Sera Conservancy rangers, in prime habitat for the Samburu Special Five. A conservation and rhino-tracking fee applies and a two-night minimum is required.
