Lewa House is a family-owned lodge on the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a former ranch on Kenya's Laikipia Plateau that now protects one of East Africa's largest rhino populations. Accommodation is seven cottages — three original thatched family cottages plus four newer eco-cottages designed to blend into the landscape — set on a hill with views across the plains toward Mount Kenya. The malaria-free setting suits families, and alongside game drives the conservancy is known for horseback and camel-supported safaris.
