Lemala Mara is a mobile tented camp in Tanzania's northern Serengeti, near the Mara River in the Kogatende area (not Kenya's Maasai Mara). Twelve generously sized en-suite tents relocate seasonally to follow the migration, setting up under large Euclea trees from around July to October to catch the dramatic wildebeest crossings of the Mara River while staying discreetly back from the herds. The camp also runs the Lemala Cubs program of tracking, animal ID and Maasai skills.
