Kyambura Gorge Lodge is a Volcanoes Safaris lodge set in a converted former coffee store overlooking Kyambura Gorge, on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park in southwest Uganda. It is eight spacious bandas with dramatic views across the protected landscape to the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon. The signature activity is chimpanzee trekking down into the gorge, alongside game drives for elephant and the area's famous tree-climbing lions and boat trips on the nearby Kazinga Channel. Children of all ages are welcome, though trekkers must be 15 or older to track chimpanzees.
