Lamai Serengeti is Nomad Tanzania's permanent camp in the far north of the Serengeti, built into the boulders of the Kogakuria Kopje just south of the Kenyan border. The main camp is eight open-fronted rooms of canvas, ferro and natural poles, including two family rooms, threaded among the rocks with verandas over the plains, plus a rock pool. It sits about thirty minutes from the Mara River crossings, making it a prime base during the migration months of roughly June to November.
