Kanga Expeditions is African Bush Camps' remote camp in a private concession of Mana Pools National Park, built beside Kanga Pan, the only water source for miles, which draws a steady stream of game to the camp's doorstep. It's six solar-powered canvas tents plus a family tent, simply styled so only canvas and gauze separate guests from the bush, each with an outdoor shower and private veranda. The signature is the armchair safari from the deck over the pan and a sunken photography hide, alongside walking safaris known for close encounters with elephant and wild dog. It's seasonal, open roughly April to December.
