Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia, Kenya
Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a six-suite tented camp inside the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia — Africa's largest black-rhino sanctuary and home to the last northern white rhinos — with Mount Kenya on the horizon. Beyond classic game drives it offers a distinctive mix of night drives for aardvark, serval and striped hyena, horse riding, canoeing on the lake in front of camp, and day trips to the Ngare Ndare forest canopy walk. A family tent sleeps four across two en-suite bedrooms and a lounge. The camp is solar-powered and Eco Tourism Kenya Gold-rated, and pairs well with a Mara stay for a change of habitat. Children from six are welcome.
