Mount Gahinga Lodge is Volcanoes Safaris' lodge in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, in the far southwest corner of Uganda where the Virunga volcanoes meet Rwanda and the DRC. Accommodation is eight hand-built stone bandas facing the volcanoes, each with a fireplace and private porch. It is the base for both mountain gorilla and golden monkey tracking, and works closely with the local Batwa community, whose cultural trail and village visits are a defining part of a stay.
