Ecca Lodge is a contemporary safari lodge in the 54,000-acre, malaria-free Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, set along the Great Fish River in the Eastern Cape. It has six suites, each with a wraparound wooden deck, private plunge pool and outdoor shower, in a modern design geared toward families. Kwandwe holds fewer than 30 rooms across the whole reserve, so game drives stay uncrowded, and Ecca imposes no age restrictions, with flexible drive times and children's activities.
