Lemala Osonjoi, the newest lodge in the Lemala portfolio (opened July 2025), sits on a hill just back from the eastern Ngorongoro Crater rim. Its roughly twenty suites, including two-bedroom options, have oversized beds, picture windows onto the forest and walk-in showers. Beside the quieter Lemala crater-access road, guests reach the crater floor in ten to fifteen minutes, an hour ahead of lodges using the busier western rim, and can add escorted forest and rim walks with an armed ranger and Maasai guide.
