Singita Ebony Lodge is the original Singita lodge, on the banks of the Sand River in the private Sabi Sand reserve. It's twelve suites, each with a private heated plunge pool, four-poster bed, and freestanding tub; a recent redesign replaced solid walls with canvas and glass to create safari tent-style rooms that open onto the river. Interiors have moved from old-world explorer's-camp styling to softer tones of indigo, ecru, ochre, and chocolate. The Sabi Sand delivers some of Africa's best leopard viewing.
