Thorntree River Lodge is African Bush Camps' Icon-category property on the banks of the Zambezi, roughly 15 km upstream of Victoria Falls and inside Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia's Livingstone region. Recently refurbished, it's ten tented suites - eight double or twin and two family suites - pairing tented roofs and an African aesthetic with modern comforts like wifi and private plunge pools. The main lodge holds a lounge and a fine-dining restaurant overlooking the river, with game drives, walks, and canoeing on the nearby 'Discovery Channel' among the activities.
