Virunga Lodge is Volcanoes Safaris' original and pioneering property in Rwanda, perched on a high ridge with panoramic views over the Virunga volcanoes and Lakes Bulera and Ruhondo. It's ten bandas, each with a bedroom, fireplace and private terrace framing the volcanoes and lakes. It's a well-established base for mountain gorilla and golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
