Serian's Serengeti South

Serian's Serengeti South is the southern, calving-season position of Alex Walker's mobile Serian camp, pitching from around mid-December to May on the short-grass plains near Ndutu to sit amid the wildebeest birthing grounds. It has six spacious canvas tents, each en-suite with a flushing toilet and hot bucket shower, a queen or twin bed, writing desk and a covered porch with a day bed. The style is classic, understated safari with a relaxed communal atmosphere rather than polished luxury, reached by flying to Ndutu or Mwiba.
