Garden Manor is the newer of the two wings at Giraffe Manor, The Safari Collection's 1930s house on the edge of a forest sanctuary in the Nairobi suburb of Karen. It has six rooms, each overlooking the sanctuary and visited daily by the resident herd of endangered Rothschild's giraffes, which famously poke their heads through the windows at breakfast. Unlike the Historic Manor, Garden Manor is open for anyone to book rather than reserved for the operator's safari circuit. The style echoes the original manor with an English country-house feel in a leafy Kenyan setting.
