Camp Kalahari is Natural Selection's most relaxed and affordable camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans, set among palms and acacias on Brown Hyena Island. It has 12 Meru-style canvas tents — a mix of twins, doubles and family units — furnished simply with rugs and old campaign furniture and open-air en-suite bathrooms. Shared with sister camps Jack's and San, the desert activities are the draw: walks with San Bushmen, habituated meerkats, quad-biking across the salt pans in the dry season and the green-season zebra migration.
