Serian's Serengeti Lamai

Serian's Serengeti Lamai is Alex Walker's permanent camp in the remote Lamai Wedge of the northern Serengeti, about a kilometer from the Mara River above Crossing Point 4 for the migration river crossings. It is eight tents plus two family suites, simply but elegantly furnished with wrought-iron beds and Moroccan rugs, each with an en-suite flushing toilet and 24-hour power. Every group gets a private guide and dedicated 4WD, and the camp - open year-round except April and May - leans into walking safaris and flycamping over mod-cons.
