Karangoma is Wild Expeditions' community-rooted camp in the far northern Okavango Delta, set on a wooded peninsula overlooking the floodplain near the source of the Selinda Spillway. It's eight tented suites (including a family tent), deliberately intimate and low-impact — low decks, outdoor showers, and interiors drawing on Hambukushu basketry patterns, with no private plunge pools — built around a collaboration with San elder Olatotse Sarefo and the Bukakhwe San and Hambukushu communities (the name means 'the healing rhythm of drums'). Activities include game drives, walking safaris, and mokoro and boat trips when water levels allow.
