Simbavati Hilltop Lodge sits on a rise in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, an unfenced western extension of Kruger, with long views over the bushveld toward the Drakensberg. It has eight tented suites spaced along the hillside for privacy, each framing the reserve below. Twice-daily game drives cover classic Greater Kruger Big Five country - known for leopard and wild dog - with the Timbavati's famous white lions in the wider area.
