Magashi Camp

Over the past decade, Magashi National Park has undergone a spectacular rewinding project after being denuded during the Rwandan genocide. Now the waters and surrounding hills are teeming with wildlife including lions, rhinos, elephants, and other plains game. Set on the shores of Lake Rwanyakazinga, Magashi Camp is the perfect safari experience to round out a gorilla trekking expedition to Rwanda. The luxury tents have a classic look with contemporary decor and decks with views across the lake. The camp has an exclusive 15,000-acre concession in the 275,000-acre park where you can take a traditional game drive or opt for a relaxing boating safari to watch animals drink along the shore.
