Little Kulala

Lodge at Little Kulala / Teagan Cuniffe / Courtesy of Wilderness Safaris

Little Kulala is a luxury camp located in the over 65,000-acre Kulala Wilderness Reserve, a magnificent desert adjacent to Namibia’s Namib-Naukluft National Park. It is near the famous Sossusvlei and Deadvlei dune areas and has access via an exclusive use gate. The desert holds a surprising amount of wildlife, so you may see ostriches, springbok, gemsbok, brown hyaenas, bat-eared foxes, and more.

The camp was recently remodeled and is now totally solar-powered. Each tent also features a private plunge pool, air conditioning, and a star bed in each of its suites. The Namib is one of the darkest places on earth, so nights will be spent staring out at the heavens after days spent looking at oceans of sand. Little Kulala is a stylish headquarters for exploring the vast dunes and canyons by foot, bike, car, and balloon.
