Habitas Namibia is a hip design take on the classic tented safari camp located a short 45-minute drive from Windhoek Airport. The camp is set on an over 125,000-acre private game reserve, and its 12 luxury tents are located on the highest point giving expansive views of the surrounding savannah. Elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and lions can all be seen here with daily game drives or walks with rangers.
The Habitas experience is built around the pillars of music, wellness, adventure, food, art, and learning. As a result, visitors will find more cultural programming and spa offerings than in other camps. In addition to massages and yoga classes, bush meditation sessions are offered to be more closely connect you to nature.
While children over 12 are welcome, we find this camp works better for couples looking to add a wildlife safari to a dune and desert-oriented Namibia itinerary.
