Guana Island - Fauna Travel

Guana Island

Your private island in the British Virgin Islands / Courtesy of Guana Island

Guana Island is our favorite private island in the British Virgin Islands. Its 850 acres include seven pristine white sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, organic gardens, dozens of hiking trails, and a flock of flamingos. All rooms are elegantly styled like whitewashed cottages with scenic clifftop views of the sea. There are no other establishments on the island outside the resort so guests will have unparalleled access to this Caribbean paradise. Watersports equipment such as stand-up paddle boards and snorkeling gear is always available, but you may find yourself soaking up the sound of the waves or enjoying the farm-to-table cuisine. The restaurant is Michelin starred and built into an 18th-century ruin.

Guana Island is closed annually in September.
