Copal Tree Lodge

Copal Tree Lodge is a luxury eco-lodge and 3,000-acre sustainable farm near Punta Gorda in the jungles of Southern Belize. The large property is surrounded by an additional 22,000 acres of rainforest preserve, making it a top destination for both food and nature lovers. The 16 luxury suites and one family villa that make up the lodge all have verandahs and picture windows with views of both the jungle and canopy. 

At the farm, guests can participate in hands-on learning about coffee, chocolate, and other local produce, or they can enjoy spirits tastings at the on-site distillery. In addition to the agro-tourism experience, the farm preserves many indigenous plants and supplies most of the produce used in the restaurant. Days can also be spent exploring the jungle trail network by foot or bike, or canoeing on the Rio Grande. Canopy tours and excursions to Mayan ruins are also available off-property. Copal Tree is built around the jungle and culinary experience, but the Caribbean coast is only a short drive away. Fishing and snorkeling expeditions there can be arranged to make your stay at Copal Tree a unique blend of both land and sea activities.
