The rolling hills of the Nyika Plateau in northern Malawi are often dotted with large herds of antelope and zebra. At night elusive predators like leopards, serval, or hyenas can be seen here. The 3-day hike of the Livinstonia trail starts here and takes you across the grasslands through rivers, forests, waterfalls, and Malawian villages. There is also a range of trails available for those wanting to flow over the hills on a mountain bike. It’s a truly magical and wild place to traverse.
