North Island

North Island in the Seychelles is one of the world’s premier private island resorts. It is located 1700 miles off the coast of Kenya far into the Indian Ocean, and its beaches are famous for their palms, white sand, and massive granite boulders. With only 11 beachfront villas, it will feel like you have the tropical paradise all to yourself. The villas are massive at almost 5,000 square feet and include private plunge pools. Still, they fit organically into the natural environment because they were crafted out of local materials.

During their stay, each guest is assigned a personal attendant who makes suggestions on how to spend the day based on their preferences. A variety of activities such as yoga, scuba diving, paddle boarding, and boating are available. You can also explore the island by foot or bike to meet one of the local Aldabra Giant Tortoises. The large tortoise species, formerly found throughout the Indian Ocean, is now rare and is protected on North Island.
