- Check out and drive to Kaikoura
- Check in at Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses

- Surfing Excursion for James
- Whale Watching Cruise for Sally

- Check out from Hapuku Lodge and drive to Christchurch

- Christchurch city and garden tour
Day 8: February 6
- Check out and drive to Dunedin
- Check in to the Fable Hotel
Day 9: February 7
- James goes on a surfing excursion near Dunedin
- Sally explores town
Day 10: February 8
- Check out and drive to Te Anau
- Check in at Fiordland Lodge or Cabot Lodge
Day 11: February 9
- Fly Fishing or short hike

- Check out and drive to Queenstown
- Check in at Hulbert House

- Boat cruise of Doubtful Sound
