July 12, 2024: Lubbock

Accommodation: The Cotton Court

Leave in the late morning for Lubbock and stop for lunch in Abeline. Looks like the best option, and Red Bud Park has a good place for the kids to run – splash pad and prairie dogs! Dinner at the Cotton Court. (6-hour drive)

Groceries in Taos are another 40min further, so I think we would want to eat in Angel Fire that night or pick up food at Natural Grocers or Evie Mae’s BBQ in Lubbock.
