Duba Plains Camp is a luxury safari camp located in the heart of the Okavango Delta in the 81,000-acre Duba Plains Reserve in Botswana. The camp offers guests an unrivaled wildlife experience, with easy access to some of Africa’s most iconic animals, including elephants, hippos, antelope, and leopards, which is why Great Plains Conservation founders and National Geographic filmmakers, Dereck and Beverly Joubert, use Duba as their base for filming wildlife. The area is best known for its lions that have adapted to hunt buffalo during the daytime. Great Plains Conservation is the only operator in this reserve, giving guests private access to this vast landscape.
The design of Duba Plains Camp reflects its commitment to conservation and respects its location in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp is built on stilts and features thatched roofs which allow it to blend into the surrounding forest. The tents are spacious and feature en-suite bathrooms, as well as private decks, and plunge pools overlooking the delta.
