Beagle Expeditions camps don’t have a pool, wifi, or even electricity – the luxury is the space to truly connect with nature. The two small family-operated tented camps in the Abu Private Reserve can only be accessed by helicopter and give travelers exclusive access to over 74,000 acres of pristine Okavango Delta. It is one of the most immersive and exclusive safaris in Botswana. The camps have good food, top-shelf drink, and bucket showers, but the focus is on the experience. Each trip is tailored to the needs of your group, and guests can explore the reserve on game drives, walking safaris, mokoro canoes, or by helicopter.
The camps are predominantly booked on an exclusive-use basis with a four-night minimum stay, but they are also offered to mixed groups of 10 as set departures throughout the year. The camp is closed from December through the end of March, and this year, the tents will be upgraded from the domed tents pictured to classic Meru-style safari tents.
