Winter hasn’t arrived in April, but it’s fall, and the weather in Patagonia can still be cold and unpredictable. I would say highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 30s with possible rain.
Depart DFW at 2:26 PM for your overnight flight to Buenos Aires.
Arrive in Buenos Aires EZE at 7:30 AM. Blacklane Airport Transfer (501706524) picks up at 8:15am.
Drop your bags at the CasaSur Palermo hotel and grab lunch in the city.

Take a morning direct flight to El Califate:

The shuttle to Explora El Chalten departs the airport at 12 p.m. and returns at 11:30 a.m. You will be able to catch it on arrival, but not departure. Transfer 3hrs north to the lodge.
Arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy this remote Patagonian outpost for the next five nights.
