This itinerary is one of Tanzania’s best and most luxurious safari options. You’ll see both the Serengeti and Tarangire National park areas, with a variety of wildlife, landscapes, and cultures. Arusha: July 27-28

Accommodation: Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge – 1 Night, Double Plantation Suite, Half Board

Arrive in the evening of the 27th at Kilimanjaro Airport. A representative will greet you at the airport and take you to your driver who will transfer you to Arusha Coffee Lodge for the night.

Serengeti: July 28-31

Accommodation: Legendary Mwiba Lodge – 3 Nights, Double Tented Suite, Game Package (all-inclusive)

On the morning of the 28th, a driver will pick you up for your transfer to the Arusha airport and your flight to Mwiba Lodge. You will arrive in time for your afternoon game drive. Spend the next couple of days exploring the southern Serengeti with your private guide.

Chem Chem: July 31-August 3

Accommodation: Chem Chem Lodge – 3 Nights, Double Luxury Tented Suite, Game Package (all-inclusive)

On the 31st, your guide will transfer you to the air strip for a scheduled charter flight to Chem Chem Reserve. You can spend the next few days exploring the reserve with your Maasai guide. This is a great stop to schedule any cultural activities you might be interested in, because the reserve has a great relationship with the local Maasai community.

Departure: August 3

On your final morning you will catch a short scheduled flight from Chem Chem to Kilimanjaro airport for your trip home. A representative will help you with your bags and guide you to your gate.

  • Flights between Arusha, Mwiba Lodge, Chem Chem, and Kilimanjaro. Applied the True Wild Fly Free offer (3 nights at Mwiba Lodge and 3 nights at Chem Chem Lodge) which you for free flights from Arusha to Mwiba and Mwiba to Chem Chem.
  • Ground transfers between Kilimanjaro Airport, Arusha Coffee Lodge, and Arusha Airport
  • All conservation and national park fees
  • Medivac Insurance to Nairobi (additional travel insurance is recommended because this is a minimal plan to get you to Nairobi)
  • Fauna Travel and Legendary bank fees (Some additional fees may be charged by your bank.)

Legendary Expeditions has the following additional terms:

  • A written confirmation is required and the 25% non-refundable deposit is due within 7 days of the written confirmation. Payable via EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)
  • The 75% balance of the payment is due at least 60 days prior to the arrival date.
  • The amount stated on the invoice needs to be received by Legendary Expeditions in full. ALL bank charges relating to the payment are the responsibility of the client
  • Payments must be made in USD ($), extras can be paid for at the property by cash, Visa or MasterCard.
  • Rates exclude Emergency Evacuation Insurance: US$ 30 per person per stay, which covers evacuation to Nairobi. Please enquire for any assistance in this regard.
  • We reserve the right to amend our rates and terms and conditions.
  • Any National Park fees, Government taxes, fuel and fuel levies or increases are subject to change and invoiced accordingly.

Legendary Cancellation Policy:

  • + 61 days to arrival: 25% non-refundable deposit retained
  • 60 – 46 days to arrival: 50% cancellation fees apply
  • 45 – 0 days to arrival: 100% cancellation fees apply
  • Cancellation is calculated on the accommodation, concession fees and confirmed flights (scheduled and or charter flights)
  • Cancellations must be received in writing and will only be valid when receipt is acknowledged in writing.
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions with sufficient notice.
