  • A more cozy boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood
• La Cle: $1249
  • A nice and unique hotel in the Winelands
• Grootbos: $3592
  • A magical hotel along the coast for hiking and whale watching.
• Bushman’s Kloof: $2,370.35
  • A luxury spa and hiking lodge north of Cape Town. I shared a more upscale version of Simbavati Cederberg previously.
• Victoria and Alfred Hotel: $796.95
  • A stylish hotel on the Cape Town waterfront.
• Coot Club: $616.22
  • A more affordable hotel near Grootbos.

Safari Lodges:

Price for 5 nights. Taxes, fees, and transportation may be extra. Subject to availability.

• Simbavati Hilltop: $8,548.19
  • This is a great value location option in the Timbavati Reserve near Kruger National Park. It has a plunge pool and a large room. The camp has only six rooms, so it’s very private.
  • Option to stay at Trails Camp for a couple of nights if you want some adventure and a lower price.
• Dulini River: $12,292.34
  • This is one of my favorite honeymoon camps in the private Sabi Sands reserve near Kruger National Park. It offers top-notch style, tiny camps, and great game drives. Sabi Sands costs a bit more because of its reputation as the premier reserve, but this is a good value for the money.
• Tanda Tula: $12,190.58
  • This camp has been recently refurbished with a more contemporary design. Great location in Timbavati Reserve near Kruger.
